Gubernur Sumsel H Herman Deru menghadiri acara Yudikatif bagi lulusan Hukum Universitas Sjakhyakirti angkatan ke-52 di hotel Aryaduta Palembang, Kamis (1/9/2022).
Herman Deru mengatakan, gelar akademik harus ditambah dengan nilai-nilai kepercayaan dari bidang yang digelutinya untuk menjaga kepercayaan, perlu niat, dan manajemen dimulai dengan baik.
“Karena hidup juga butuh kejujuran, disiplin, dan integritas. Saya ingin mengajak adik-adik saya untuk memastikan langkah selanjutnya setelah lulus. Saya ingin kita menjaga kepercayaan masyarakat, alumni dan almamater,” ujarnya.
Sementara itu, Rektor Universitas Sjakhyakirti Palembang, Dr Ir Agoes Thony Ak MSi mengatakan, kunci sukses seorang pemimpin adalah mampu memimpin diri sendiri terlebih dahulu.
“Sekali Anda bisa memimpin diri sendiri, Anda bisa memimpin orang lain,” kata Agoes.
Lebih lanjut, kata dia, saat ini pelaksanaan pembelajaran mandiri dan pembelajaran kampus mandiri sesuai dengan Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Kemendikbud).
Sementara itu, Dekan Fakultas Hukum Universitas Sjakhyakirti, Palembang, Hj Desmawati Romli berpesan kepada mahasiswa yang telah diwisuda agar dapat menerapkan ilmu yang telah diperoleh selama kuliah kepada masyarakat.
“Jaga nama baik almamater, terus belajar dan belajar untuk memberikan ilmu yang bermanfaat bagi masyarakat,” ujarnya.
Lebih lanjut dikatakannya, pada Yudisium angkatan 52 ini terdapat 144 lulusan sarjana hukum di Universitas Sjakhyakirti (Unisti) tahun ajaran 2021/2022. “Dari jumlah tersebut, 10 orang lulus dengan predikat sangat memuaskan,” pungkasnya.
