DPD Demokrat Sumsel Buka Pendaftaran Bacaleg. Cik Ujang: Target 13 Kursi DPRD Sumsel

RIMAUNEWS, PALEMBANG- Menjelang pemilihan umum (Pemilu) tahun 2024, berbagai parpol sudah mulai bersiap, salah satunya Partai Demokrat yang menargetkan tiga kursi di Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat (DPR) Republik Indonesia (RI) dan 13 kursi. kursi Dewan Perwakilan Rakyat Daerah (DPRD). Provinsi Sumatera Selatan.

Demikian disampaikan Ketua Dewan Pimpinan Daerah (DPD) Partai Demokrat Sumsel, Cik Ujang SH saat meresmikan pendaftaran calon anggota legislatif DPRD Provinsi Sumsel periode 2024 – 2029 di Partai Demokrat Sumsel. Partai DPD, Rabu (12/10/2022).

“Kami akan berusaha semaksimal mungkin untuk mencapai 13 kursi karena kami telah mencapai itu pada tahun 2009 dan kami akan menang lagi seperti saat itu,” kata Cik Ujang.

Cik Ujang mengatakan pihaknya akan menyaring calon-calon yang potensial untuk mencalonkan diri, baik anggota DPR RI maupun DPRD Provinsi Sumsel, di mana prioritas diberikan kepada mereka yang mencalonkan diri kembali dengan tujuan untuk menumbuhkan partai.

“Termasuk mereka yang hanya ingin bergabung dengan pesta demokrasi atau mereka yang bukan partai yang ada kemauan untuk bergabung dengan partai.
Kita rangkul Demokrat, angkat, tegakkan dan dukung AHY untuk mencalonkan diri menjadi anggota DPRD Sumsel atau kabupaten/kota khususnya DPR RI,” jelasnya.

Pihaknya mengatakan akan merangkul masyarakat karena perjuangan demokrasi adalah harapan rakyat, maka sosialisasi akan dilakukan di seluruh pelosok Sumsel hingga pelosok desa untuk merangkul pemilih pemula.

“Terus sosialisasikan ke masyarakat, pasti ada kendala tapi tidak jadi kendala tapi jadi pemicu untuk terus berkarya, bekerja keras, insya Allah sukses sudah di depan mata,” ujarnya.

Namun, dalam hal ini, ia mengimbau kepada seluruh kader dan juga non kader jika memiliki kemauan dan kemampuan untuk mencalonkan diri di DPRD Sumsel dipersilahkan untuk mendaftarkan diri.
