RIMAUNEWS, PALEMBANG- Sebagai dukungan terhadap program pemerintah dalam memberikan layanan administratif berupa akta kelahiran kepada masyarakat, PT PLN UP3 Lembayung bekerjasama dengan Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Kota Lahat beserta lembaga sosial kemanusiaan Aksi Cepat Tanggap (ACT) Sumatera Selatan, mendistribusikan sebanyak 300 akta kelahiran kepada warga di 7 (tujuh) kecamatan di daerah Lahat
Manager PT PLN UP3 Lahat melalui Manager UP Lembayung, Ludi Sandra mengatakan bahwa kerjasama PLN dan ACT ini memang ditujukan untuk membantu warga miskin atau prasejahtera di Kabupaten Lahat
“Bantuan ini merupakan bentuk dukungan PLN terhadap program pemerintah yang telah dirumuskan dalam Tujuan Program Berkelanjutan (TPB) atau disebut juga sebagai Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’), selain itu selaras juga dengan misi sosial ACT untuk membantu warga kurang mampu” kata Ludi
Lebih lanjut ia menjelaskan bahwa dengan sinergitas yang baik bersama Disdukcapil Kabupaten Lahat dan ACT yang telah berpengalaman dalam kegiatan sosial kemanusiaan, pihaknya akan membantu pelayanan pembuatan akta kelahiran gratis
Tujuh kecamatan yang akan mendapatkan bantuan akta kelahiran gratis sebagai berikut, Kecamatan Lahat Selatan, Kota Agung, Kikim Timur, Kikim Selatan, Mulak Sebingkai, Mulak Ulu, dan Pulau Pinang. Sementara itu, yang akan dibantu adalah warga kurang mampu yang berada pada lokasi yang jauh dari kantor layanan administrative sehingga selama ini belum melakukan kewajiban kepengurusan akta kelahiran bagi anak-anaknya.
Program Implementator ACT Sumsel, Aditya menyampaikan bahwa selain memberikan bantuan akta kelahiran gratis, para warga juga akan mendapatkan bantuan tambahan berupa beras dan dana santunan. Hal ini sebagai wujud kepedulian sosial kepada masyarakat prasejahtera di wilayah kabupaten Lahat.
“Sebagian besar warga yang menjadi sasaran adalah dari prasejahtera, sehingga memiliki berbagai keterbatasan dalam memenuhi kewajiban administratif. Selain dibantu mendapatkan akta kelahiran mulai dari tahap awal verifikasi, validasi, hingga mendapatkan akta lahir dari dinas kependudukan dan catatan sipil, warga juga mendapatkan bantuan beras dan dana santunan,” jelas Adit
Dikatakannya juga, program ini dijalankan tidak lain untuk membantu dan mempermudah masyarakat mengurus akta kelahiran serta mempererat hubungan emosional PLN dengan masyarakat.
