RIMAUNEWS,PALEMBANG – Gubernur Sumsel H Herman Deru bersama Menteri Perhubungan (Menhub)  RI, Budi Karya Sumadi menggelar rapat koordinasi dalam mewujudkan pembangunan Pelabuhan Tanjung Carat  yang dilakukan secara virtual  di Command Center Kantor Gubernur Sumsel, Selasa (24/5).

Dalam rapat yang dipimpin langsung Menhub RI Budi Karya Sumadi tersebut    disepati proses pembangunan Pelabuhan Tanjung Carat segera dimulai yang diawali dengan   Ground Breaking  ditagetkan pada bulan Juni 2022 mendatang.

Gubernur Sumsel H Herman Deru sangat berterima kasih kepada Menteri Perhubungan RI, atas komitmennya yang terus mendorong upaya akselarasi pembangunan pelabuhan tanjung carat.

Bahkan untuk mempercepat proses pembangunan ini, Herman Deru sudah membentuk  Satuan Tugas (Satgas) dengan harapan proses  pembangunan dapat dikejar sesuai schedule pada bulan Juni di lakukan peletakan batu pertama.

Dalam rapat ini juga Herman Deru melaporkan proses ter update kondisi lokasi  pembangunan pelabuhan tanjung carat seperti lahan, pembangunan jalan dan kerjasama dengan mitra terkait.

“Proses pensertifikatan lahan milik Pemprov Sumsel sudah dalam proses. Mudah-mudahan di bulan juni ini juga selesai. Termasuk kesiapan BUMD yang telah pak Menteri berikan izinnya akan terus bekerja sama dengan calon mitranya,” katanya.

Kemudian lanjut Herman Deru untuk pembangunan jalan Detail Engineering Design (DED) sudah selesai. Bahkan sudah dilakukan koordinasi dengan Menteri PUPR RI untuk pekerjaan fisik pembangunan.

“Kami bersurat sudah tiga kali kepada Menteri PUPR dan secara jelas Menteri PUPR akan menindaklanjuti, namun ada permohonannya agar segera dilakukan penetapan lokasi,” ujarnya.

Dengan begitu atas kerjasama dan koordinasi yang terus terjalin dengan baik ini Bapak Pembangunan Sumsel itu berharap agar pembangunan pelabuhan tanjung carat terwujud sesuai target yang ditentukan.

“Artinya kita tetap ikut sesuai arahan pak Menhub agar pembangunan ini terealisasi susuai jadwal yang kita rencanakan yakni di bulan juni ini. Mudah- mudahan tidak terjadi planning kedua,” tutup Herman Deru.

Sementara itu, Menhub RI Budi Karya Sumadi meminta dalam proses pembangunan pelabuhan tanjung carat ada ketepatan karena itu penting sebab bulan depan harus grounbreking.

“Ketepatan waktu ini penting dalam pembangunan ini. Saya minta pak gubernur ada percepatan yang dilakukan disana,” katanya.

Untuk itu Menhub mengingatkan kepada semua pihak terkait untuk bersemangat dan detail dalam pembangunan ini sebab yang dikerjakan ini harus target.

“Saya minta kepada Pak Gubernur untuk proses di percepat sehingga dibulan juni bisa groundbreaking,” pungkasnya.

Turut hadir, Sekjen Kementerian Perhubungan RI, Novie Riyanto Raharjo, Inspektur Jenderal Kementerian Perhubungan RI, Made Pasek Suardika, Staf Utama Menteri Perhubungan Bidang Transformasi Laut dan Logistik Maritim, R. Agus H Purnawo dan Tenaga Ahli Menhub Bidang Hukum, Ivone Cleara.
