Gubernur Sumsel Herman Deru Mencoba Alat Mesin Pertanian Untuk Warga OKUT

RIMAUNEWS, OKUT – Gubernur Sumsel menyerahkan bantuan alat mesin pertanian pra oanen dan pasca panen bagi petani dan korporasi petani di Desa Sabahlioh, Kecamatan Bunga Mayang di Kabupaten OKU Timur Tahun 2021, Selasa (7/9). Penyerahan Bantuan Alat Pertanian, Benih Jagung dan Bibit Padi ini adalah bentuk fasilitasi pemerintah dalam upaya melaksanakan Program Strategis Nasional “Food Estate”.

Dengan mengawal pelaksanaan Program Strategis Nasional “Food Estate” ini dengan baik diharapkan Sumsel dapat menjadi percontohan untuk pelaksanaan kegiatan Food Estate di Indonesia.

Dikatakan HD konsep Food Estate Sumsel yang ingin diwujudkannya adalah penumbuhan dan pengembangan kawasan pertanian berbasis korporasi melalui kegiatan pendampingan, pengawalan pertanaman komoditi pangan dan hortikultura dan komoditi pertanian lainnya sesuai rekomendasi teknis, spesifik lokasi dan berdasarkan kebutuhan petani mulai dari hulu sampai kehilir yang akan menumbuhkan dan meningkatkan kemandirian petani.

Menurut HD Ia tak pernah pilih kasih dalam mengguyurkan bantuan ke daerah. Namun  melihat dan menganalisa terlebih dulu potensi tiap-tiap daerah.

” Kan tidak mungkin Saya memberikan bantuan alat pertanian ini ke perkotaan yang lebih banyak mengandalkan sektor jasa. Makanya Saya kasih daerah memang punya potensi pertanian, perkebunan dan perikanan. Inilah namanya kerja konkret,” ujar HD.

Selain memberikan bantuan alsintan, benih padi dan jagung, dalam kesempatan itu HD juga sekaligus mencanangkan program Penanaman Padi IP 300 di Seluruh Sumsel yang dimulai dari Kabupaten OKU Timur. Diharapkan dengan pencanangan dan pemberian bantuan ini dapat menjadi penyemangat masyarakat untuk mencapai prestasi di bidang pertanian dan perkebunan. Iapun menginginkan agar sektor pertanian menjadi Icon di Provinsi Sumsel.

“Makanya saya Ingatkan agar Bupati OKUT jangan disorientasi, jangan latah dan ikut-ikutan. OKUT ini potensinya pertanian, perkebunan. Tidak usah bicara potensi yang lain, inilah yang terus digali, bila perlu untuk mengedukasi generasi muda ini bisa dijadikan muatan lokal di sekolah-sekolah,” jelasnya.

Lebih jauh HD mengatakan, pada tahun 2060 mendatang, berdasarkan kesepakatan sejumlah negara di dunia semua akan dilarang menggunakan energi fosil, melainkan diganti dengan energi terbarukan.

Jika diihitung dari sekarang maka waktu yang tersisa kata HD sekitar 39 tahun lagi. Sehingga tidak ada waktu lagi untuk menata dan mewariskan energi terbarukan bagi anak cucu.

“Solusinya tidak ada pilihan lain selain pertanian dan perkebunan. Kalau kita bergerak hari ini artinya kota telah berinvestasi membuat energi terbarukan di masa depan. Karena nanti bisa saja tebu bukan hanya menghasilkan gula tapi menjadi bahan bakar dan lainnya” terang HD.

Terkait penyerahan bantuan alat pertanian itu, HD juga memgingatkan agar dapat dimanfaatkan sebaik mungkin karena tentu telah melewati seleksi yang ketat. Sehingga diharapkan penerima tak hanya punya tanggungjawab secara materi tapi juga moril bagi perkembangan pertanian di OKUT.

Sementara itu dalam kegiatan tersebut Gubernur HD didampingi Bupati OKUT H. Lanosin, Ketua DPRD Kab OKUT Beny Davidson melakukan serangkaian kegiatan di antaranya melakukan tanam Jagung bersama petani serta menyaksikan percepatan tanam padi  bersama petani, di Desa Sabahlioh, Kecamatan Bunga Mayang, Kab OKU Timur, Selasa (7/9).

Dalam kesempatan tersebut Gubernur Herman Deru juga berkesempatan menyerahkan bantuan mesin alat pertanian berupa traktor roda 4 ke beberapa kelompok petani, traktor roda 2, pompa air 3 inch, kultivator. Serta bantuan alat mesin petanian pada korporasi petani, berupa traktor,  kultivator. Bantuan benih padi dan jagung serta POC.

Di tempat yang sama Bupati OKU Timur H. Lanosin mengatakan mewakili masyarakatnya mengaku sangat senang dengan  bantuan yang diguyurkan ini.

Seban bantuan ini sangat ditunggu-tunggu masyarakat karena harapannya bantuan ini membuat eknonomi OKUT semakin menggeliat. Saat ini saja kata Lanosin, meskipun di masa pandemi dengan mengandalkan sektor pertanian  secara statitistik perekonomian OKUT  masih menjadi yang membanggakam di Sumsel.

” Karena itu kami mohon Gubernur juga dapat menuntun kami untuk jadi daerah percontohan di Sumsel. Terkait food estate OKUT saat ini kita masih eksis dengan kuota 15.000 hektare,” jelas Lanosin.

Tak hanya sektor pertanian, saat ini kata Lanosin mereka juga tengah fokus menggarap potensi lainnya seperti perkebunan dan perikanan. Terbaru dengan program Kampung Patin, OKUT menargetkan menjadi kabupaten penyangga kebutuhan ikan di Sumsel.

” Selain target produksi Gabah Kering Giling (GKG) 1 juta ton, kita juga fokus di bidang perikanan,” ucapnya.

Sementara itu Plt Kepala Dinas Pertanian TPH Provinsi Sumsel R. Bambang Pramono mengatakan saat ini di OKUT sudah ada 6 korporasi petani berbadan hukum yang telah terbentuk. Pembentukan ini merupakan implementasi pelaksanaan kick of food estate yang dicanangkan di Pemulutan oleh Menteri Pertanian (Mentan) beberapa waktu lalu.

Dijelaskan Bambang bahwa di OKU Timur terdapat kuota 15.000 hektare mendapat paket lengkap mulai dari benih padi, pupul, pestisida dan bantuan pengolahan lahan.

” Nilainya sekitar Rp90 miliar dengan rincian Rp6 juta perhektareny untuk 15.000 hektare ha. Ada juga bantuan asporasi Almarhum Percha Leanpuro berupa pompa dan lainnya. Serta bantuan Mentan pada koorporaso petani food estate. Semoga dengan ini food estate di Sumsel juga di OKUT dapat menjadi percontohan di Indonesia,” tegasnya.

Saat ini kata Bambang Pemprov Sumsel tengah melakukan percepatan tanam untuk menggenjot sektor produksi.yang sempat terkendala kehilangan luas tanam lantaran adanya rehab irigasi. Percepatan tanam untuk meningkatkan produksi padi itu dilakukam dengan mencanangkan penanaman Padi IP 300 di seluruh Sumsel langsung oleh Gubernur Sumsel H. Herman Deru.(Aw)
