RIMAUNEWS, Jakarta – Indonesia Digital Conference (IDC) yang diselenggarakan Asosiasi Media Siber Indonesia (AMSI) tahun 2021 akan merekam sejumlah inovasi dan penguatan ekonomi digital.
Ketua Umum AMSI Wenseslaus Manggut mengatakan IDC tahun ini berusaha merekam inovasi tersebut dan menyuguhkannya untuk khayalak ramai. Dia berharap para pembuat kebijakan dan pelaku industri bisa menemukan cara berkolaborasi yang efektif, saling menguntungkan, serta kian mempermudah kehidupan banyak orang.
“Pandemi ini benar-benar mempercepat penetrasi digital dalam setiap elemen kehidupan manusia. Semua hal tiba-tiba dilakukan secara nirkontak, dari urusan sosial, pendidikan, hingga urusan transaksi ekonomi,” kata Wens yang juga Chief Content Officer (CCO) Kapanlagi Youniverse.
Menurut Wens akselerasi digital dalam segala lini kehidupan terlihat pada begitu banyaknya inovasi teknologi dalam berbagai bidang.
Sekretaris Jenderal AMSI Wahyu Dhyatmika mengatakan IDC adalah sebuah acara tahunan yang diselenggarakan sejak 2019. IDC menjadi wadah berkumpulnya para pemimpin bisnis, pembuat kebijakan, pelaku usaha, dan para profesional, untuk memotret perkembangan terkini dan masa depan Indonesia dari lensa digital.
IDC AMSI 2021 akan berlangsung bulan November. Ketua Panitia Pelaksana IDC 2021 Machroni Kusuma mengatakan sebagai langkah awal dalam kegiatan ini akan berlangsung Road to IDC tanggal 15 sampai 18 November, selanjutnya tanggal 24 dan 25 November.
Kegiatan Road to IDC selama tiga hari tersebut akan berlangsung di delapan provinsi. Di Sumatera Selatan, Road to IDC dengan tema Akselerasi Digital Pariwisata Sumatera Selatan. Di Kalimantan Timur: Digitalisasi UMKM, Solusi Jitu Membangkitkan Ekonomi Kalimantan Timur.
Lalu di Jawa Barat: Percepatan Ekonomi Desa Melalui Digitalisasi dan Jawa Tengah: Digitalisasi Pariwisata Karimunjawa.
Di Jawa Timur: Digitalisasi, Kunci Akselerasi Jawa Timur Bangkit dan Bali: Akselerasi Digitalisasi UMKM Bali. Kemudian di Sulawesi Selatan: Pemulihan Ekonomi Sulawesi Selatan Melalui Digitalisasi Pariwisata dan Sulawesi Utara: Akselerasi Digital KEK Pariwisata dan Dukungan Perbankan.
“Acara puncak IDC 2021 digelar tanggal 24 dan 25 November,” kata Roni yang juga Founder Beritaindonesia.link, Selasa (12/10/2021).
Menurut Roni tema utama IDC 2021 tentang “Lompatan Digital: Inovasi dan Akselerasi” diambil karena Indonesia telah memasuki era jaringan seluler generasi kelima (5G). Ini menjadi sebuah lompatan besar bagi inovasi digital di Indonesia.
Tak hanya itu, implementasi jaringan 5G juga menjadi momentum percepatan akselerasi transformasi digital.
Era baru ini juga bakal membuka banyak peluang dan berdampak besar terhadap peningkatan produktivitas, penyerapan tenaga kerja, hingga penguatan ekonomi digital di dalam negeri.
