IKB Manku Terus Menebar Kebaikan Bagi Masyarakat Sumsel

RIMAUNEWS, PALEMBANG – Gubernur Provinsi Sumatera Selatan (Sumsel), Herman Deru mendorong Ikatan Keluarga Bersatu Mendayun Komering Ulu Timur (IKB Manku) terus melakukan kegiatan sosial.

Pihaknya memberikan apresiasi kepada IKB Manku karena telah melakukan kegiatan sosial yang memberikan manfaat secara langsung bagi masyarakat.

“Saya apresiasi apa yang telah dilakukan IKB Manku. Banyak yang telah diperbuat IKB Manku sebagai organisasi yang turut bergerak di bidang sosial,” terangnya usai memberikan sambutan dalam kegiatan baksos yang digelar IKB Manku, di Jalan Panjaitan Plaju Palembang, Minggu  (26/9/21).

Herman Deru mengatakan, pengelola organisasi bisa berjalan karena dilakukan ikhlas dalan melaksanakan berbagai kegiatannya.

“Meskipun baru berusia satu tahun, IKB Manku bisa diterima oleh masyarakat terutama kelompok masyarakat Komering yang ada di perantauan,” tegasnya.

Dia menjelaskan, tugas utama IKB Manku adalah mengumpulkan kekuatan dari pihak lain, kemudian diberikan ke anggota itu sendiri maupun masyarakat.

“Saya berharap, organisasi masyarakat termasuk organisasi serupa dengan IKB Manku bisa terus menebar kebaikan untuk masyarakat Sumsel,” ujarnya.

Sementara itu, Ketua Umum IKB Manku, M Tabrani mengatakan, kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan menggelar tiga rangkaian kegiatan secara bersamaan. Yakni penyaluran beras, sunatan massal dan donor darah.

“Untuk penyaluran beras sendiri merupakan program dari Pak Gubernur Sumsel Herman Deru. Kita menyalurkannya ke masyarakat,” ucapnya.

Dia menjelaskan, ada 1.000 kepala keluarga (KK) yang akan menerima beras sebanyak 10 kg per KK-nya.

“Untuk sunatan massal sendiri ada 80 anak yang ikut pertisipasi. Dan donor darah sendiri diikuti 83 orang. Jumlah ini akan terus bertambah seiring berjalannya kegiatan,” tambahnya.

Dia menilai, kegiatan sosial ini sebagai tanggungjawab yang diemban IKB Manku kepada masyarakat.

“Kegiatan serupa telah kita lakukan. Bahkan kita punya program hingga 2024 mendatang untuk turut mensejahterakan masyarakat Sumsel,” tegasnya. (Yt)
