RIMAUNEWS, PALEMBANG – Tim teknik Persatuan Sepakbola Seluruh Indonesia (PSSI) melakukan peninjauan Stadion Gelora Sriwijaya Jakabaring (GSJ) Palembang, Kamis (27/8). Hal itu guna memastikan kesiapan terkini GSJ yang merupakan kandidat tuan rumah Piala Dunia U-20 pada Mei-Juni 2021 mendatang.
Dimana dalam tinjauan PSSI tersebut ada 16 poin rekomendasi yang harus dipenuhi sebagai prasyarat dari FIFA untuk stadion yang berkapsitas 40 ribu penonton itu diantaranya rumput stadion, tempat duduk penonton, tempat duduk pemain, ruang ganti, atap stadion, warna stadion, dan lapangan latihan.
Ke 16 poin yang menjadi syarat mutlak FIFA tersebut sudah terpenuhi GSJ kendati masih harus dilakukan perbaikan.
Ketua Asosiasi Provinsi PSSI Sumsel Ucok Hidayat mengatakakan, sejumlah poin rekomendasi pembenahan sebagai syarat akan segera dilakukan. Tahap renovasi akan dikerjakan oleh Dinas PUCK Sumsel dan pengerjaan perbaikan stadion GSJ tinggal pelaksanaan saja.
“Desain sudah ada, tidak banyak yang diperbaiki. Kursi sudah bagus, ruang ganti bagus. Beberapa kerusakan sedang diperbaiki. Bench pemain dan pelatih akan diganti seperti yang ada di Eropa. Intinya Jakabaring siap menjadi tuan rumah,” kata Ucok.
Dia menuturkan, setelah tinjauan PSSI ini, tim dari FIFA juga akan melihat secara langsung kesiapan dari stadion GSJ pada Oktober 2020 mendatang.
“Jakabaring sudah masuk dalam komitmen PSSI. Kami optimis perhelatan dilakukan di sini. Rencananya akan ada empat tim yang datang ke Palembang dengan enam kali pertandingan,” tuturnya.
Kepala Dinas PUCK Sumsel, Basyarudin, menyebut renovasi ditarget rampung akhir tahun ini. Pihaknya menggandeng konsultan profesional yang pernah menggarap rumput di Stadion Gelora Bung Karno Jakarta.
“Sejauh ini pengerjaan rumput sudah 60 persen, dari pengalaman yang sudah-sudah, dalam waktu semalam sudah beres karena dikebut,” terangnya.
Sementara lapangan latihan, setidaknya disiapkan empat tempat, yakni Stadion Bumi Sriwijaya dan tiga lainnya masih berada di dalam komplek Jakabaring Sport City, yakni venue baseball, panahan dan venue atletik.
“Tiga tempat latihan diambil alih kementerian untuk renovasi dan ditarget Februari 2021, sedangkan Sumsel merenovasi satu tempat latihan, rampungnya akhir tahun ini,” paparnya.
Sebelumnya, Ketua Tim Teknik PSSI Dessy Arfianto mengatakan, tim yang terdiri dari tujuh orang ini akan mengecek secara langsung kondisi terkini dari stadion utama dan stadion latihan yang diajukan Sumatera Selatan selama dua hari, 27-28 Agustus 2020.
“Kedatangan kami ini lebih kepada peninjauan kesiapan infrastruktur dari stadion-stadion yang diajukan. Kami melihat langsung, mencatat, mendengar dan mendata, itu saja, untuk nanti dilaporkan sebagai ‘update’ ke FIFA. Tidak ada kesimpulannya di sini, semua FIFA yang memutuskan,” kata Dessy.
Ia mengatakan, hasil dari peninjauan ini akan menjadi dasar untuk pelaporan ke FIFA mengingat organisasi sepak bola internasional tersebut selalu menanyakan kondisi terkini dari persiapan Indonesia sebagai tuan rumah Piala Dunia U-20.
“Pada prinsipnya kami ingin daerah (Sumatera Selatan) melaporkan saja apa yang sebenarnya. Ini akan lebih mudah bagi kami, agar bisa mengambil langkah-langkah lanjutan mengingat tim dari FIFA sendiri akan datang pada Oktober atau November 2020. Mereka juga nantinya akan melihat langsung,” kata dia.
Ia mengungkapkan, seharusnya tim verifikasi dari FIFA ini dijadwalkan berkunjung ke Indonesia pada September.
“Namun, adanya COVID-19 membuat terjadi penundaan mengingat di sejumlah negara masih menghadapi krisis pandemi ini,” pungkasnya.(Don)
