RIMAUNEWS, PALI – Polres Penukal Abab Lematang Ilir (PALI) menyalurkan bantuan beras puluhan ton di wilayah Bumi Serepat Serasan untuk membantu masyarakat terdampak pandemi Covid-19.
Bantuan ini disalurkan Polres langsung ke tengah-tengah masyarakat maupun melalui beberapa organisasi kemasyarakatan. Termasuk, penyalurannya ditujukan juga kepada insan pers.
Kapolres PALI AKBP Rizal Agus Triadi mengatakan, bantuan itu merupakan bantuan dari Polda Sumatera Selatan dalam meringankan beban masyarakat kurang mampu juga lansia di masa pandemi Covid-19.
“Kita ketahui bahwa pandemi Covid-19 masih berlangsung. Tentu saja dampaknya dirasakan masyarakat. Kita salurkan bantuan ini melalui sejumlah organisasi, di antaranya melalui NU, Muhamadiyah, LSM, dan PWI juga IWO,” ungkap Kapolres PALI, Kamis (9/9).
Selain itu, Kapolres PALI juga gencar mengajak masyarakat untuk ikut vaksin yang saat ini selain di fasilitas kesehatan, pada Mapolres PALI juga dibuka pos pelayanan pemberian vaksin pencegahan Covid-19.
“Bagi yang belum divaksin, silakan datang ke faskes terdekat atau ke Mapolres, kami juga melayani pemberian vaksin,” tukasnya.
Sementara itu, Bung Anas, Ketua PWI PALI didampingi Ketua IWO PALI Efran langsung menyalurkan bantuan beras dari Polres ke masyarakat yang sebelumnya telah didata.
“Target kami warga kurang mampu juga warga yang sudah lanjut usia. Alhamdulillah, setelah kami menerima bantuan, langsung kita distribusikan kepada warga penerima,”katanya. (ARI)
