PPDB SMAN 1 Palembang di Mulai Februari, Ini Syaratnya Inggin Masuk

RIMAUNEWS,PALEMBANG-  SMA Negeri 1 Palembang dijadwalkan akan melaksanakan Penerimaan Peserta Didik Baru (PPDB) pada Februari mendatang. Syarat untuk mendaftar yakni nilai rata-rata selama 5 semester pada SMP minimal 86.

Hal tersebut diungkapkan Kepala SMA Negeri 1 Palembang H.Moses Ahmad,S.Pd.,MM diwawancarai di sekolahnya, Senen (24/1/2022).

Moses mengatakan, syarat pendaftaran sama seperti tahun sebelumnya nilai rata rata selama 5 semester untuk mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia, Bahasa Inggris, Matematika dan IPA kumulatifnya 86.

“Awal bulan Februari kami akan melakukan sosialisasi ke SMP. Kemudian baru membuka pendaftran, pengecekan berkas, pelaksanaan tes dan pengumuman. Untuk pendaftaran sekitar pertengahan Februari. Tanggal pastinya kita masih menunggu juknis dari Dinas Pendidikan Provinsi Sumsel, ” ujarnya.

Untuk daya tampung, Moses menuturkan, sama seperti tahun sebelumnya menerima 12 kelas yang setiap kelas berisi 36 siswa.

“Nanti setelah siswa dinyatakan lulus seleksi, akan ada tes lagi untuk menetapkan siswa yang masuk kelas kurikulum Cambridge Internasional. Dari 12 kelas, siswa akan diseleksi lagi untuk masuk di 2 kelas kurikulum Cambridge, ” bebernya.

Moses menjelaskan, untuk siswa yang masuk di kelas kurikulum Cambridge Internasional itu harus bisa menggunakan Bahasa Inggris. Karena bahasa pengantar yang digunakan oleh guru menggunakan Bahasa Inggris.

“Guru yang mengajar di kelas kurikulum Cambridge Internasional ada berasal dari sini, dan ada yang berasal dari luar negeri. Dengan penerapan kurikulum Cambridge Internasional, siswa akan lebih fasih berbahasa Inggris. Sehingga mampu bersaing secara global karena anak memang dipersiapkan untuk itu, ” paparnya.

“Siswa yang lulus dari kelas kurikulum Cambridge Internasional akan mendapatkan 2 ijazah sekaligus yakni ijazah nasional dan ijazah Cambridge, ” tambah Moses.

Sejak diterapkan pada tahun 2018, Moses menerangkan, guru yang mengajar di kelas kurikulum Cambridge Internasional ada 12 guru dari luar negeri.

Moses menambahkan, bagi siswa SMP yang mau mendaftar ke SMA Negeri 1 Palembang, silahkan mempersiapkan diri. Karena persaingan disini sangat ketat, dan persyaratan nilai kumulatif untuk beberapa mata pelajaran minimal 86. Bagi siswa yang nilainya dibawah 86, maka otomatis ditolak sistem saat pendaftaran.

“Saat pelaksanaan tes juga menggunakan sistem komputer. Saat siswa selesai mengerjakan soal, maka nilai akan langsung terlihat. Jadi seleksi disini benar-benar murni nilai siswa, ” tandasnya. (Don)
