Herman Deru Lepas Ribuan Peserta SRGF 2021 

RIMAUNEWS, OKUS – Pelaksanaan event Sriwijaya Ranau Gran Fondo (SRGF) 2021 yang berlangsung di Kawasan Danau Ranau Kabupaten OKU Selatan, untuk ketiga kali berturut-turut sukses digelar.

Bahkan, peserta cycling challenge di tahun ketiga ini terlihat lebih ramai dari tahun sebelumnya. Dimana sedikitnya, 2440 peserta dari 20 provinsi di Indonesia dan luar negeri seperti Inggris, turut meramaikan kegiatan tersebut.

Gubernur Sumsel H Herman Deru melepas langsung ribuan goweser yang mengikuti event yang memadukan olahraha sekaligus rekreasi itu.

Menurut Herman Deru, SRGF merupakan langkah pemerintah dalam memajukan olahraga dan pariwisata di Sumsel.

“Ini merupakan suatu prestasi bagi jajaran. Yang terpenting event ini merupakan kerja keras semua pihak. Selain membuat masyarakat sehat, kegiatan ini akan membuat OKU Selatan semakin dikenal sebagai destinasi wisata di Sumsel. Setiap tahun, event ini terus meningkat. Bahkan di tahun ini lebih meriah,” kata Herman Deru, Sabtu (13/11).

Bahkan, lanjutnya, SRGF ini juga dapat mendongrak perekonomian masyarakat di OKU Selatan. Dimana parameter meningkatnya potensi ekonomi tersebut terlihat dari banyaknya hotel dan home stay didirikan.

“Dampak ekonomi dari kegiatan ini sangat jelas. Trennya positif. Saat ini banyak penginapan yang berdiri untuk menunjang destinasi wisata disini. Tidak hanya itu, kegiatan ini juga berpengaruh pada peningkatan penghasilan para UMKM khususnya di kawasan Danau Ranau ini,” terangnya.

Meningkatnya peserta dalam SRGF 2021 ini tak lepas dari dampak infrastruktur yang baik. Gubernur Herman Deru sendiri memang terus konsisten dalam pengembangan infrastruktur di Sumsel.

“Ide pelaksanaan event ini memang digagas secara spontanitas, namun pelaksanaannya dilakukan secara terencana. Mulai dari infrastruktur mulai dari akses dan infrastruktur pendukung lainnya,” tuturnya.

Dia meminta, infrastruktur yang telah ditingkatkan tersebut harus tetap terjaga. Termasuk kelestarian di kawasan Danau Ranau.

“Termasuk kesiapan masyarakatnya dari berbagai aspek juga harus dijaga, agar siap menerima kunjungan wisatawan yang terus meningkat ini. Kelestarian Danau juga penting wisatawan tetap nyaman berkunjung. Apalagi Danau Ranau ini merupakan danau terbesar kedua di Sumatera,” ujarnya.

Dengan berbagai upaya yang dilakukan tersebut, dia berharap, SRGF dapat masuk dalam kalender tahunan nasional.

“Harapan kita, event ini bisa masuk dalam kalender nasional, karena melalui kegiatan ini bisa menumbuhkan berbagai potensi yang bermuara pada kesejahteraan masyarakat. Hal ini adalah tanggung jawab bersama,” paparnya.

Sementara itu, Bupati OKU Selatan Popo Ali Martopo mengatakan, selama ini di Kabupaten OKU Selatan hampir tidak pernah diadakannya kegiatan semacam ini. Tapi berkat gagasan Gubernur Herman Deru, event SRGF ini terus dilaksanakan. Terlebih, meski harus dilakukan dengan protokol kesehatan akibat pandemi covid-19, SRGF tetap dilaksanakan dengan sukses.

“Gagasan pak Gubernur ini sudah dilaksanakan tiga tahun berturut-turut dan ini membawa dampak baik bagi kemajuan OKU Selatan. Dunia usaha meningkat dengan pesat,” katanya.

Bahkan, dia menyebut, masyarakat OKU Selatan meminta agar event semacam ini dilakukan setiap bulan.

“Dengan event ini, kami merasa Sumsel ini pinfldah ke OKU Selatan. Ini menandakan jika masyarakat sangat merasakan dampak baik dari kegiatan ini,” tuturnya.

Di lain pihak, peserta asal Inggris Emma Jean Paynie mengaku, memang telah lama tertarik dengan SRGF.

Hanya saja, pemenang Sekotong Triathlon 2021 di Lombok ini menyebut, ketertarikannya tersebut baru dapat direalisasikan di tahun 2021 ini.

“SRGF ini sangat berbeda dari event serupa lainnya. Saya sudah lama tertarik untuk ikut dan baru kali ini terwujud. Di SRGF ini, kita dapat berolahraga sepeda sekaligus juga menikmati pemandangan di Danau Ranau dan ini sangat menarik. Saya sendiri tidak mengejar juara namun ingin merasakan sensasi berbeda dalam bersepeda.

Masyarakat disini juga ramah,” katanya.

Sedangkan, warga Danau Ranau Holid mengaku, SRGF ini memiliki dampak yang sangat besar bagi perekonomian.

“Adonyo event-event ini dampaknya luar biasa. Aku sendiri yang mempunyai homestay merasakan sendiri karena orang-orang yang ingin memesan homestay berutan. Termasuk juga barang dagangan saya laku seperti makanan dan minuman,” ungkapnya.

Dia harap kedepan tidak hanya event sriwijaya grand fondo saja tetapi juga digelar event-event besar lainnya di Danau Ranau.

“Kami ucapkan terima kasih kepada pak Gubernur Herman Deru berkat adanya event ini perekonomian warga sekitar meningkat. Kedepan kami harap event-event besar terus dilakukam disini,” tutupnya.

Disela kegiatan itu, Gubernur Herman Deru juga melepas ratusan benih ikan ke Danau Ranau. Hal itu dilakukan untuk menjaga kelestarian di danau tersebut.
