Sambut Hari Lingkungan Hidup Sedunia 2022, Begini Ragam Aktivitas Alfamart

RIMAUNEWS, PALEMBANG- Momen Hari Lingkungan Hidup Sedunia yang diperingati tiap tanggal 5 Juni ini direfleksikan Alfamart dengan berbagai kegiatan. Pembangunan rumah budidaya bibit dan rumah budidaya maggot, barter sampah layak daur ulang dengan sembako dan edukasi kantong plastik sekali pakai hingga program nasional promo tebus murah tas belanja.
Kegiatan yang mengusung restorasi ekosistem tersebut terfokus di kota Tangerang, tepatnya Kampung Iklim Anthurium, Kecamatan Karawaci.

Corporate Communication GM Alfamart, Nur Rachman menyatakan kegiatan sosial perusahaan yang banyak berorientasi pada lingkungan ini sejalan dengan penerapan aspek ESG (Environmental Social and Governance) yang menjadi komitmen berkelanjutan Alfamart.

“Kita semua sudah paham betul bahwa salah satu warisan yang wajib kita berikan kepada penerus adalah alam yang bersih dan sehat, yang harus kita lestarikan dari sekarang. Dan perusahaan pun sudah mengambil inisiatif itu,” jelasnya.

Rumah bibit tersebut akan digunakan sebagai tempat untuk mengembangkan bibit tanaman yang nantinya juga bisa dijual kembali oleh masyarakat setempat. Sedangkan rumah maggot sebagai tempat untuk mengembangkan hewan maggot berkembang biak. Maggot adalah organisme larva yang dapat menghancurkan sampah organik dan bisa berfungsi sebagai pupuk alami.

Sedangkan promo khusus 1 hari di hari lingkungan sedunia sekarang ini adalah tebus murah tas belanja ecobag hanya seharga 2000 rupiah dengan syarat dan ketentuan berlaku. Melalui program promo ini diharapkan semakin banyak masyarakat yang terbiasa pakai tas belanja yang bisa dipakai berulang kali, alih-alih kantong plastik.

“Edukasi kepada masyarakat terus kita lakukan, setiap belanja di Alfamart, kami anjurkan agar konsumen membawa sendiri tas belanja atau tidak lagi menggunakan kantong plastik, yang tujuannya tentu mengurangi sampah plastik,” jelasnya.

Nur Rachman menambahkan kegiatan kepedulian perusahaan terhadap lingkungan tidak hanya pada saat momen tertentu saja, melainkan terus berkesinambungan.
Pada tahun 2021 lalu Alfamart telah menanam pohon sebanyak 13.000 di berbagai wilayah di Indonesia sebagai upaya konservasi lahan kritis. Dan sepanjang tahun 2022 ini Alfamart tetap berkomitmen menjalankan program pemulihan ekosistem lingkungan, seperti kampanye stop penggunaan kantong plastik, penggunaan Pembangkit Listrik Tenaga Surya di banyak kantor cabang Alfamart dan aksi penanaman pohon yang masif.

“Semoga masyarakat juga turut ambil peran dalam rangka menciptakan dan melestarikan lingkungan yang sehat,” tutupnya.(Rill)
