RIMAUNEWS, PALEMBANG- Berbagai upaya terus dilakukan Global Wakaf – ACT Sumsel untuk memenuhi kebutuhan para santri dan para warga prasejahtera, salah satunya melalui program penyediaan kebutuhan air bersih berupa Pembangunan Sumur Wakaf.
Per Agustus ini, total sumur wakaf yang telah dibangun oleh Global Wakaf ACT Sumsel di berbagai wilayah kota/kabupaten di Sumsel sebanyak 43 titik. Kali ini Global Wakaf ACT Sumsel akan kembali membangun sumur wakaf pesantren di daerah Ogan Komering Ulu Timur (OKU Timur). Khususnya di beberapa daerah OKUT yang kini masih minim fasilitas PDAM
Bupati OKU Timur, Lanosin, yang turut hadir dalam acara launching pembangunan sumur wakaf pada Senin (30/8) mengatakan bahwa, bantuan sumur wakaf yang diberikan oleh Global Wakaf ACT akan sangat bermanfaat bagi para santri dan masyarakat sekitar untuk memenuhi kebutuhan air bersih.
“Saya dan warga disini sangat berterimakasih atas kehadiran Global Wakaf ACT di kabupaten OKU Timur, insyaAllah sumur tersebut sangat bermanfaat bagi warga disini, selain itu Saya berharap siapa saja yang nanti menjadi penghibah ACT Selalu diberikan kesehatan dan dapat bermanfaat untuk kita semua karena tujuan kita satu yaitu mulia di sisinya”. Imbuhnya
Target penerima manfaat dari Sumur Wakaf ini tentu para santri dan para warga sekitar yang memang membutuhkan fasilitas air bersih maupun MCK yang mendesak. Selama ini, para santri dan warga hanya mengandalkan sungai untuk memenuhi kebutuhan air sehari-hari.
“Semoga program yg diluncurkan berjalan dengan baik dan menjadikan OKU Timur salah satu contoh basis kedermawanan terbaik di Sumatera Selatan dengan bersama dan gotong royong menghadirkan satu demi satu program yg penuh manfaat bagi masyarakat OKU Timur melalu ACT Sumsel,” Kata Diwa, Branch Manager ACT Sumsel
