Usai Dilantik Yakitara Fungsikan 4 Program Penting

Pelantikan Yakitara Kota Prabumulih oleh Walikota Prabumulih H  Ridho Yahya.

RIMAUNEWS, PRABUMULIH – Pasca dilantik beberapa waktu lalu oleh Walikota Prabumulih H  Ridho Yahya, Yayasan Kita Setara (Yakitara) Kota Prabumulih akan menjalankan 4 program kerjanya.

Hal ini diungkapkan Ketua Yakitara Kota Prabumulih Saripah, dan satu dari empat program kerja tersebut sudah berjalan yakni pendataan terhadap penyandang disabilitas yang ada di Kota Prabumulih.

Dijelaskanya dari hasil pendataan itu, ia menyebutkan ada ratusan orang penyandang disabilitas di Kota Prabumulih. “Hampir 200 dan bila selesai terdata kita bisa menjalankan program dan inovasi Yakitara yang sudah kita susun sebelumnya akan kita realisasikan,” ujarnya, kemarin.

Program Yakitara kedua yakni penyaluran bantuan sosial untuk penyandang disabilitas lanjut usia, dan keluarga kurang mampu.

Lanjutnya program lain yakni menggalang partisipasi penyandang disabilitas dalam kegiatan bakti sosial.

Ia menambahkan program Yakitara akan melakukan pembinaan dan pemberdayaan masyarakat, khusus disabilitas melalui pelatihan dan keterampilan wirausaha nantinya.

“Sebab penyandang disabilitas seperti kami ini ingin menunjukkan bahwa keterbatasan bukanlah penghalang tapi kelebihan yang harus ditonjolkan ,sehingga ingin sekali membuat keterampilan ataupun wirausaha,agar lebih mandiri dan produktif,”pungkasnya. (Put)
