Bank Sumsel Babel Launching Tim Bola Voli Palembang Bank Sumselbabel

RIMAUNEWS, PALEMBANG – Tim Bola Voli Bank Sumsel Babel kian berbenah dalam menghadapi Proliga 2022 yang akan digelar pada 7 Januari hingga 27 Maret mendatang.

Karena itu, Kamis, 30 Desember 2021 di PSCC Palembang, Bank Sumsel Babel dengan bangga melaunching tim bola voli yang akan ikut bertanding dalam Proliga tersebut.

Tim yang dijuluki sebagai Bayi Ajaib ini telah mengikuti proliga sejak tahun 2009 dan telah menjadi Juara Utama 2 kali pada tahun 2011 dan 2013.

Sesuai dengan tradisinya bahwa, setiap tim yang mengikuti Proliga mempunyai jatah merekrut pemain asing sebanyak 2 orang, Tim Voli Palembang Bank Sumsel Babel juga merekrut pemain asing dari Brazil yaitu Felix Junior Sergio Luiz dan Santos De Olievera Caio A.

Tim Palembang Bank Sumse l Babel kali ini terdiri dari 17 Pemain, 1 coach, 1 assisten coach, 2 trainer, 5 offiicial dan sebagai Manager Tim Voli Palembang Bank Sumsel Babel
adalah Bapak DodY Wahyudy.

Pada kegiatan tersebut, Tim Voli Bank Sumsel Babel tak hanya melaunching para pemain tetapi juga melaunching Logo Resmi Tim Palembang Bank Sumsel Babel yang baru.

Kegiatan dihadiri juga oleh Wakil Gubernur Sumatera Selatan Mawardi Yahya, Ketua DPRD Sumsel RA Anita Noeringhati dan Direktur Utama Bank Sumsel Babel Achamd Syamsudin.

Syamsudin mengatakan harapan kami dengan tim Palembang Bank Sumsel Babel yang baru ini dapat
memberikan spirit yang baru sehingga dapat membawa kembali gelar Juara Proliga ke Bumi Sriwijaya.

Karena itu, sambung dia, kami mempersiapkan, ada pemain senior, ada pemain baru dan lainnya. Tak ketinggalan, kata dia, ada 2 pemain dari Brasil yang juga bergabung.

Kedepannya, BUMD bidang perbankan tersebut akan terus fokus di pembinaan pemain muda agar muncul atlet binaan dari tingkat daerah. “Saya bermimpi ada pemain lokal, untuk itu disini kita harus ada pembinaan,”ungkap dia.

Memang, akui dia, ada sejumlah pemain lokal ikut seleksi, namun beberapa diantaranya tak lolos dalam ujian tersebut. “Disini, Proliga harus pemain yang profesional, karena ada standar-standar tertentu yang harus dipenuhi,”jelas dia.

Ditempat yang sama, H Mawardi Yahya mengatakan ada launching yang meriah ini diharapkan mampu mengembalikan kejayaan di masa lalu. Tim saat ini, akui dia, telah berkembang, mudah-mudahan mendapat hasil maksimal.

Selain itu, Mawardi juga mengingatkan bola voli merupakan olahraga merakyat. Sebagai contoh, kata dia, bola voli ini, banyak dimainkan di tingkat desa, apalagi acara Karang Taruna, ada bola volinya.

Ini, lanjut dia, bola voli merupakan olahraga benar-benar merakyat untuk masyarakat, bisa juga diadakan setiap kantor cabang BSB di daerah diadakan perlombaan voli. Hal ini, sambungnya, akan meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat dan memunculkan benih atlet baru

Dalam kesempatan tersebut, Mawardi Yahya juga mengajak keterlibatan Badan Usaha Milik Negara atau BUMN yang ada di provinsi Sumsel untuk ikut serta memajukan potensi atlet olahraga di daerah.

“Harapan kita, disusul nantinya, yang mengembangkan olahraga lain, terutama dari BUMN, ada PTBA, Pusri, ada harapan kita punya tim olahraga yang bisa membina untuk kemajuan Sumsel,”ujar dia. (Don)
