Herman Deru Bangun Jalur Evakuasi Bencana Untuk  Keselamatan Masyarakat

RIMAUNEWS,PALEMBANG – Pembangunan infrastruktur kian serius dilakukan Gubernur Herman Deru.

Seperti pada kunjungan kerjanya Desa Sindang Panjang Kabupaten Lahat, Selasa (21/6) petang. Dimana Gubernur Herman Deru melaunching dan melakukan groundbreaking pembangunan jalur evakuasi dua dua kecamatan yakni Tanjung Sakti Pumi dan Tanjung Sakti Pumu, kabupaten Lahat.

“Kita melakukan pembangunan jalur evakuasi ini untuk memperdekat akses antara Tanjung Sakti Pumi dan Tanjung Pumu. Pembangunan ini sudah kita mulai sejak saat ini,” kata Herman Deru di sela groundbreaking.

Menurut Herman Deru, hal itu dilakukan untuk mempercepat akses evakuasi ketika terjadinya bencana.

“Kita tahu kawasan ini dekat dengan gunung api Dempo. Ini sebagai kewaspadaan untuk mempercepat akses evakuasi. Ketika jalur ini rampung, maka jarak Pumi dan Pumu yang saat ini 18KM dapat dipangkas menjadi 6KM,” terangnya.

Bahkan, lanjutnya, jalan tersebut juga nantinya boleh dimanfaatkan masyarakat sebagai akses jalan.

“Ini juga bukan hanya sebagai akses evakuasi. Namun bisa dimanfaatkan sebagai jalur ekonomi seperti mengangkut hasil bumi,” bebernya.

Dia pun menekankan, agar pengerjaan jalur evakuasi tersebut dikebut sehingga dapat selesai tahun ini juga.

“Kita mempercepat pengerjaan tahun ini. Targetnya agar selesai tahun ini dan dapat segera dimanfaatkan. Mudah-mudahan bermanfaat bagi masyarakat,” ujarnya.

Sementara itu, Bupati Lahat Cik Ujang mengatakan, upaya pembangunan tersebut dilakukan sebagai bentuk perhatian terhadap keselamatan masyarakat.

“Pak gubernur sangat merespon pembangunan ini. Kita sangat berterima kasih,” katanya.

Menurutnya, pembangunan ini juga bentuk perhatian Gubernur Herman Deru terhadap keselamatan masyarakat.

“Perhatian pak Gubernur terhadap keselamatan masyarakat sangat tinggi. Pembangunan ini untuk kesejahteraan masyarakat,” pungkasnya.

Dalam kesempatan itu, Herman Deru didampingi Ketua TP PKK Sumsel Hj Febrita Lustia Herman Deru.

Hadir pula dalam groundbreaking tersebut, Anggota DPRD Sumsel Alferenzi Panggarbesi, Walikota Palembang yang juga putra daerah Tanjung Sakti H Harnojoyo, Ketua dan anggota DPRD Lahat, dan sejumlah pejabat di lingkungan Pemkab Lahat dan Pemprov Sumsel.**
