Herman Deru Sukses Antar Pemprov Sumsel Raih Baznas Award 2022

RIMAUNEWS, JAKARTA – Untuk kesekian kalinya kepemimpinan  pasangan Gubernur Sumsel H Herman Deru dan Wakil Gubernur Mawardi Yahya diapresiasi oleh Badan Amil Zakat Nasional (BAZNAS). Apresiasi tersebut ditandai dengan diberikannya penghargaan berupa  “BAZNAS Award 2022” yang diserahkan  langsung oleh Ketua BAZNAS RI, Prof. Dr. KH. Noor Achmad yang diterima Wagub Mawardi Yahya bertempat di Golden Ballroom The Sultan Hotel Jakarta Senin (17/1) siang.

Ketika dibincangi usai menerima penghargaan BAZNAS Award 2022 tersebut, Wagub  Mawardi Yahya menegaskan, penghargaan yang diterima kali dalam kategori  sebagai Pemerintah Daerah Pendukung Gerakan Zakat Indonesia.

“Terimakasih atas penghargaan yang telah diberikan kepada kami Pemerintah Provinsi Sumatera Selatan. Penghargaan ini merupakan motivasi bagi kami untuk terus melaksanakan kewajiban berzakat, infak dan bersedekah sebagai umat muslim yang ada di Sumatera Selatan,” ucap  Wagub  Mawardi Yahya.

Menurut Wagub, dirinya bersama dengan Gubernur Herman Deru  sejak dari awal sudah memberikan perhatian penuh terhadap keberadaan lembaga Badan Amil Zakat Nasional (BAZNAS) merupakan badan resmi dan satu-satunya yang dibentuk oleh pemerintah berdasarkan keputusan Presiden RI No. 8 Tahun 2001 yang memiliki tugas dan fungsi menghimpun dan menyalurkan zakat, infak, dan sedekah pada tingkat nasional.

“Nah dukungan itu kita wujudkan mulai dari aspek regulasi, pendanaan  termasuk  sarana prasarana,” imbuhnya.

Sementara itu Ketua BAZNAS RI, Prof. Dr. KH. Noor Achmad dalam arahannya menyebut Basnas Award 2022 merupakan rangkaian dari Kegiatan HUT BAZNAS ke-21  yang tujuannya untuk menguatkan visi BAZNAS, menjadi Lembaga Utama Mensejahterakan Umat.

“Sejumlah rangkaian kegiatan ini bertujuan untuk menguatkan visi BAZNAS yakni menjadi Lembaga Utama Menyejahterakan Umat. BAZNAS akan menghadirkan berbagai inovasi dalam strategi penghimpunan, penyaluran, pengendalian dan pelaporan sehingga pengelolaan zakat dapat efektif dan efisien,”  tambahnya.

Noor Achmad meyampaikan  ucapan terima kasih kepada seluruh pihak yang telah membantu menyukseskan berbagai program BAZNAS dalam rangka memberikan kesejahteraan dan kemaslahatan bagi umat.

‘Semoga BAZNAS dapat menjadi lembaga pilihan utama bagi pembayar zakat, lembaga utama yang mensejahterakan umat,” pungkasnya.

Dilain pihak Presiden Joko Widodo saat memberikan sambutan dalam acara Baznas Award 2022 di akun YouTube Baznas TV meminta agar Baznas menciptakan inovasi dan pelayanan dengan mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan teknologi. Sehingga bisa mempercepat pelayanan zakat untuk masyarakat.

“Baznas juga harus membangun tata kelola yang semakin terbuka, semakin transparan, professional, serta akuntabel,” kata Jokowi.
Selain itu Presiden juga mengharapkan  penyaluran zakat dilakukan dengan tepat sasaran. Sehingga  memberikan dampak  positif dalam  peningkatan kesejahteraan umat.

“Meningkatkan aktivitas perekonomian, dan mengatasi berbagai masalah-masalah sosial, termasuk membantu mengentaskan masalah kemiskinan,” tegas Presiden. *
