Mahasiswa Baru Unsri Lakukan Pengenalan Kehidupan Kampus Secara Hybrid

RIMAUNEWS, PALEMBANG, RP – Pengenalan Kehidupan Kampus atau PK2 bagi mahasiswa baru Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI) tahun ajaran 2022/2023 dilakukan secara Hybrid, kombinasi online dan offline.

Hal itu diungkapkan Rektor Unsri Prof Dr Ir H Anis Saggaf MSCE mengatakan PK2 dilakukan secara Hybrid. “Hari ini dilakukan secara online, besok di fakultas,” ujarnya.

Jadi, lanjutnya, online dan bercampur dengan kegiatan PK2, namun tetap mengutamakan protokol kesehatan dan tidak berkerumun.

Untuk tahun ajaran ini, lanjut Anis, sebanyak 8.668 mahasiswa yang mendaftar berdasarkan hasil registrasi ulang mencapai 9.000 (daftar mahasiswa).

“Selain itu ada 28.339 mahasiswa yang ada, jika dibagi rata-rata masa studi 3,5 sampai 4 tahun,” kata Anis.

Pelaksanaan PK2 tahun ini berbeda dengan tahun lalu, dimana menurut Anis tahun lalu full online karena situasi darurat, tapi sekarang kita mulai sistem hybrid, proses pembelajaran.

Secara rinci, kata Anis, kuliah yang hanya menjelaskan teori itu online saja, tapi kalau harus turun ke lapangan, seperti pergi ke laboratorium, tinggal mengatur tiap program studi, asal tidak membuat kerumunan.

Kepala Dinas Pendidikan dan Pendidikan Sumsel, Riza Pahlevi mengatakan, sistem yang diterapkan Unsri bermanfaat bagi adik-adik dalam beradaptasi. Untuk siswa baru, sarannya, selama ini di tingkat menengah (SMA, baca) 80 persen ditentukan oleh guru.

Tapi, lanjutnya, berbeda jika pendidikan di kampus dimana peran dosen hanya 20 persen, sisanya mahasiswa sendiri yang menentukan hasilnya nanti.

Soal pengenalan kampus hybrid, dia memuji kebijakan UNSRI. “Di sini, masa pengenalan kampus tanpa kekerasan, aman dan menyenangkan,” ujarnya.(Don)
