RIMAUNEWS, Ogan Komering Ilir – Gubernur Sumsel H Herman Deru merespon langsung usai mendengar kabar adanya musibah kebakaran yang terjadi di Desa Terusan Laut, Kecamatan Sirah Pulau Padang, Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ilir (OKI), Sabtu (18/4) kemarin.
Dimana orang nomor satu di Bumi Sriwijaya tersebut bergegas turun ke lokasi guna memastikan kondisi warganya pasca terjadinya musibah kebakaran yang mengakibatkan enam unit rumah hangus dengan total delapan Kepala Keluarga (KK) harus mengungsi sementara waktu.
“Mohon maaf baru siang hari ini saya berkunjung, Kemarin saya sudah dapat kabar. Sebenarnya kemarin saya mau kesini tapi mengingat suasana yang lagi gaduh dan warga yang lagi sibuk menyelamatkan barang-barangnya maka tidak sangat memungkinkan,” kata Herman Deru di sela peninjauan lokasi korban kebakaran, Minggu (18/4).
Menurutnya, musibah tersebut merupakan ujian. Sebab itulah dia meminta agar masyarakat khususnya para korban untuk tetap bersyukur dan tidak mengurangi keimanan serta ketakwaan kepada sang pencipta.
“Kita berysukur kejadian ini tidak menyebabkan korban jiwa dan hanya di enam rumah. Ini tentu berkat kerja keras dari masyarakat sendiri dibantu pihak Damkar. Namun yang pasti ini merupakan bentuk ujian,” ungkapnya.
Kendati begitu, dia mengingatkan agar masyarakat untuk lebih berhati-hati dan selalu waspada.
“Maka untuk itu kita sama -sama tingkatkan kewaspadaan. Yang belum pernah terjadi terus di jaga, apalagi sebagian besar rumah di kawasan Desa Terusan Laut terbuat dari kayu dan berdekatan,” katanya.
“Jadi kita betul-betul harus saling mengingatkan mulai dari para tokoh, kades, camat hingga RT/RW nya dan dibantu Babinsa dan Bhabinkamtibmas, apalagi kita sebentar lagi memasuki musim kemarau,” ungkapnya.
Dalam peninjaun ini HD juga membawa berbagai bantuan mulai dari Sembako dan kebutuhan lainnya. Bahkan dia juga yang akan menjamin kebutuhan hidup para korban kebakaran selama masih di pengungsian.
“Pemprov Sumsel dan OKI membantu para korban agar mereka segera pulih dan bisa kembali ketempat tinggal mereka. Pemprov Sumsel memberikan jaminan hidup selama mereka di tempat pengungsian dan memberi bantuan uang tunai senilai Rp. 5 juta per KK. Saya minta juga kepada Pemkab OKI untuk membangunkan rumahnya,”katanya.
Sementara itu, Camat SP. Padang, Syawal Harahab menambahkan kejadian kebakaran tersebut pada hari Sabtu 17 April 2021 sekitar pukul 09.30 WIB. Dimana dia menjelaskan akibat dari kebakaram ini mengakibatkan tujuh rumah yang terdampak dimana lima rumahnya hangus terbakar dan dua rumah lainnya hanya terkena sisi samping rumah. Korban kebakaran tersebut sebanyak delapan Kepala Keluarha (KK).
“Alhamdulilah atas insiden ini tidak ada korban jiwa. Namun satu orang ibu rumah tangga menjadi korban bakar ringan, dan sudah ditindaklanjuti,” ucapnya.
Atas kehadiran daei Gubernur Sumsel, Camat Syawal Harahab mewakili masyarakat sekitar mengucapkan terima kasih banyak atas perhatian dan kepeduliannya kepada warganya.
“Kami mengucapkan terima kasih kepada pak gubernur atas responnya datang ke lokasi di Desa kami tempat kebakaran ini, karena begitu peduli dengan warga sini,”tutupnya.
Salah satu warga korban kebakaran di Desa Terusan Laut, Kecamatan Sirah Pulau Padang, Kabupaten Ogan Komering Ilir, Irayeni (36) mengucapkan terima kasih kepada Gubernur Herman Deru atas kepedulian kepada warga sekitar sini.
“Alhamdulillah nian kami senang pak Gubernur sudah datang langsung dan kasihke perhatian dengan kami disini,” katanya.
