RIMAUNEWS, OKU TIMUR- Gubernur Sumatera Selatan H. Herman Deru (HD) hadir langsung pada Launching Progran Desa/Kelurahan Cinta Statistik (Cantik) yang disinergikan dengan Gerakan Sumsel Mandiri Pangan (GSMP) di tingkat kabupaten/kota se-Sumatera Selatan yang dilaksanakan di Rumah Adat (keraton) Desa Tanjung Raya, Kec. Belitang, Kabupaten OKU Timur, Rabu (18/9).
Dalam arahannya Gubernur Herman Deru
menegaskan, program desa cantik yang dilaunching tersebut merupakan hasil diskusinya dengan Kepala BPS Prov. Sumsel, DR. Ir. Zulkipli, M.Si beberapa waktu sebelumnya.
“Kita dengar tadi begitu gamblangnya penjelasan dari pak deputi tentang pentingnya data untuk melakukan pembangunan. Karena Melalui pijakan data yang benar akan dapat mengeluarkan kebijakan yang tepat,” tegas Herman Deru.
Herman Deru menambahkan Desa Cantik yang telah di launching tidak boleh hanya ceremonial saja, melainkan juga harus menjadi suatu pemahaman akan pentingnya data dalam sebuah pembangunan.
“Saya harap Desa Cantik tidak hanya sekedar menjadi simbolik saja melainkan juga pekerjaan secara berkesinambungan dalam mewujudkan Sumsel satu data”, tegas Herman Deru.
HD juga mengungkap bahwa launching Desa Cantik Se-Sumsel merupakan yang pertama kali dilakukan di Indonesia yang melaunching secara menyeluruh pada level Kabupaten/kota.
“Saya minta program desa cantik ini dimanfaatkan untuk kebutuhan pembangunan desa. Semoga ini membawa kemaslahatan bagi masyarakat”, tandasnya.
Sementara itu Deputi Statistik Distribusi dan Jasa BPS RI, Setianto, SE, M.Si menyampaikan bahwa urgensi dari pembangunan Indonesia secara adil dan merata telah disampaikan oleh Presiden RI pada peringatan hari sumpah pemuda yang lalu.
“Kondisi ini tentunya dengan penambahan target jumlah desa berkembang dan desa mandiri yg dapat kita capai pada tahun 2024 nanti. Dalam pencapaiannya BPS siap dan hadir untuk menjadi patner strategis dalam mencapai tujuan tersebut, salah satunya dengan Program Desa Cantik yang kita launching saat ini,” ungkapnya.
Ia juga mengapresiasi atas inisiasi yang telah dilakukan Gubernur Sumsel dalam mendukungan Program Desa Cantik yang disinergikan dengan Gerakan Sumsel Mandiri Pangan (GSMP).
Menurutnya terobosan GSMP harus terus dipromosikan dan didorong untuk diketahui masyarakat agar mereka dapat merubah mindset sebagai konsumtif menjadi produktif.
“Jika GSMP ini diterapkan oleh seluruh masyarakat Sumsel maka tentunya ini akan memberikan dampak pada penurunan angka kemiskinan,” ucapnya.
Selain itu ia juga mengatakan ketersedian data yang berkualitas merupakan sebuah urgensi dalam mencapai pembangunan yang berkualitas.
“Melalui terobosan Desa Cantik diharapkan desa mampu mengelola dan memanfaatkan data statistik dalam melakukan pembangunan desa dan diharapkan seluruh desa dapat menjalankan program Desa Cantik secara berkesinambungan serta dijalankan dengan kemampuan SDM yang harus terus ditingkatkan,” ungkapnya.
Diharapkannya kapabilitas desa dapat meningkatkan kualitas data desa yang semakin berkualitas dan memanfatkan data statistik sebagai data utama dalam melakukan pembangunan desa sesuai dengan kebutuhan desa.
