Resmikan Masjid Hj Percha Leanpuri, Herman Deru: Ini Bukti Cinta Masyarakat Kepada Ananda Percha

RIMAUNEWS, OKU – Berbagai cara ditunjukkan masyarakat sebagai bukti kecintaannya terhadap almarhumah Hj Percha Leanpuri yang merupakan putri sulung Gubernur Sumsel H Herman Deru.

Salah satunya yang dilakukan masyarakat Desa Durian Kecamatan Penantian Kabupaten OKU.

Dimana warga setempat berinisiatif mendirikan masjid yang diberinama Hj Percha Leanpuri. Peresmian masjid tersebut itu pun dilakukan langsung oleh Gubernur Sumsel H Herman Deru, Jum’at (29/7).

“Saya sangat bangga dan terima kasih kepada masyarakat Desa Durian atas karyanya yang telah membangun masjid Hj Leanpuri. Ini jadi bukti kecintaan masyarakat terhadap Titi (panggilan akrab Hj Percha Leanpuri,” kata Herman Deru.

Apalagi, lanjutnya, pembangunan masjid tersebut dilakukan dengan dan swadaya masyarakat.

“Meskipun baru berdiri, namun kemegahannya sudah terlihat walaupun menggunakan dana swadaya masyarakat. Kedepan, masjid ini bisa dikembangkan sehingga dapat menampung jemaah lebih banyak,” tuturnya.

Kendati begitu, Herman Deru berharap, masjid tersebut tidak hanya dibangun dengan menampakkan keindahan fisiknya, tapi juga harus dimuliakan.

“Isi masjid ini kegiatan keagamaan. Masjid ini harus menjadi tempat syiar Islam sehingga membawa manfaat bagi masyarakat,” paparnya.

Diketahui, peresmian masjid Hj Percha Leanpuri tersebut dimulai dengan penandatangan prasasti. Dilanjutkan dengan pemotongan pita dan membuka tirai nama masjid tersebut.

Turut mendampingi, Bupati OKU H Teddy Meilwansyah, Wakil Bupati OKU Timur  H. M. Adi Nugraha Purna Yudha, Ketua Kormi Sumsel H Samantha Tivani, sejumlah Forkopimda Sumsel maupun Kabupaten OKU, dan OPD dilingkungan Pemprov Sumsel dan Pemkab OKU.*
