siap untuk memfasilitasi kegiatan yang akan diadakan Uskup Keuskupan Agung Palembang. Dia juga menilai kebersamaan dalam perbedaan dan keberagaman di Sumatera Selatan yang telah terjalin perlu dipertahankan.“Jadi apa yang sudah kita rasakan selama ini, mari kita pertahankan dan kita tingkatkan dengan menjunjung tinggi nilai nilai silaturahmi, Ini tradisi yang harus kita rawat, saya menyambut baik kegiatan ini, dimana akan banyak orang datang dan akan berdampak positif bagi pembangunan Provinsi Sumsel, terlebih hal ini menandakan Sumsel zero konflik yang telah terbukti,” katany.a
Dalam pertemuan itu, Gubernur Herman Deru menuturkan kerukunan umat beragama di Provinsi Sumsel dapat terbangun dan sangat kondusif. Salah satu kuncinya, tradisi saling kunjung dan silaturahmi antarumat beragama.
“Saya bangga karena mendapat kunjungan silaturahmi dari umat beragama. Semua di respon dengan baik, meskipun dalam diskusi lanjutan, tidak semua dikabulkan. Dari semua unsur ini yang disampaikan semua akan kita respon sehingga hasil guna,” pungkasnya.
Dalam kesempatan yang sama Wakil Ketua Kontingen Pesparani Sumsel Alphonsus Supardi, MM menyampaikan dalam waktu dekat Keuskupan Agung Palembang akan menyelenggarakan Sinode pada tanggal 27 hingga 29 bulan September di Kota Palembang. Dimana 250 perwakilan umat katholik akan berkumpul di gedung Yayasan Xaverius Bangau.
