RIMAUNEWS, PALEMBANG – Selain menjadi unsur penting dalam menjaga zero konflik di Sumsel, para bikers yang tergabung dalam berbagai komunitas motor juga dapat berperan membantu pemerintah daerah mengajak warga Sumsel untuk lebih taat membayar pajak.
Pernyataan itu disampaikan Gubernur Sumsel H. Herman Deru saat menghadiri Anniversary ke-20 Sriwijaya Motor Club (SMOC) sekaligus silaturahmi dengan para bikers yang digelar di halaman kantor DPW Nasdem, Sabtu (30/7) malam.
“Beberapa hari lalu Saya juga membuka kontes mobil. Saya sengaja hadir sejak pagi, bukan hanya sebagai Gubernur tapi untuk mengapresiasi karena dari sekian banyak klub mobil antik semua taat membayar pajak. Makanya Saya berharap klub sepeda motor ini juga menjadi duta ketertiban dan ketaatan membayar pajak,” jelasnya.
Menurutny saat ini Pemprov Sumsel melalui Pergub Nomor 18 Tahun 2022 tentang Pembebasan Bea Balik Nama Kendaraan Bermotor Kedua dan Seterusnya.
“Kesempatan ini sebaiknya dimanfaatkan karena dapat membuat aman dan nyaman kita sebagai pemilik kendaraan roda dua dan empat,” jelasnya.
Dalam kesempatan tersebut, Gubernur Sumsel H. Herman Deru, juga mengapresiasi seluruh bikers yang tergabung dalam SMOC yang telah menggelar acara positif ini berikut pernak-pernik acaranya.
Ia juga mengakui bahwa peran para bikers sangat besar dalam menjaga kondusifitas Sumsel sehingga dapat mempertahankan statusnya sebagai daerah yang zero konflik.
Sampai detik menurutnta Sumsel dapar mempertahankan statusnya zero konflik. Banyak pihak yang berperan dalam hal ini, ada aparat masyarakat dan juga club-club motor seperti ini.
“Alhamdulillah di sini kita tidak pernah mendengar ada pengendara motor yang brutal, bertindak di luar aturan. Bukan hanya pelanggaran lalu lintas tapi tapi pelanggaran pidana juga tidak ada dan ini terjaga sangat baik,” jelasnya.
Pada moment itu Herman Deru juga tak lupa mengajak para bikers untuk selalu bersyukur kepada Allah SWT karena masih diberikan kesempatan menghadiri acara anniversary SMC ke-20. Iapun berharap kegiata yang diselenggarakan ini dapat bermanfaat bagi masyarakat banyak.
Sementara itu Presiden SMOC Maman Lesmana menyampaikan ucapan terima kasih kepada semua unsur yang terlibat.
Maman berharap silaturahmi ini akan semakin menguatkan kebersamaan dan rasa saling menghormati antar anggota club motor yang ada.
“Motor adalah sarana kita sekedar untuk mencari pergaulan dan sahabat. Mari kita pupuk terus kebersamaan sehingga tidak ada geng motor di Palembang dan Sumsel,” jelasnya.
Saat ini dikatakannya SMOC membawahi sedikitnya 300 an club motor yang tersebar di Sumsel bahkan hingga luar kota. Selain itu mereka juga mengatakan memiliki paguyuban motor Sriwijaya yang membawahi hampir 150 club motor di Palembang.
Dalam kesempatan itu dilakukan juga pemotongan tumpeng sebagai wujud syukur karena SMOC mampu bertahan selama dua dekade. SMOC juga memberikan piagam penghargaan atas partisipasi Gubernur Sumsel H. Herman Deru dalam acara tersebut.
